Cherry Ripe Smoothie Bowl

SERVES: 1     READY: 5 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1/3 fresh avocado (60 grams)

50 grams frozen banana

1 scoop of whey protein

1 heaped tbsp of cacao

1 tsp of vanilla essence

Small pinch of sea salt

1 cup of frozen cherries

2 heaped tbsp of dried coconut

1 tsp of maple syrup

200ml of unsweetened almond milk

4 ice cubes

METHOD:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.

  2. Place into a bowl and enjoy it as a smoothie bowl. You can also add your favorite toppings but consider that the macros and calories have not been counted for the toppings.

  3. If you are time poor and need to eat this on the run, add 150ml of water to the blender and drink it as a smoothie drink rather than having it in a bowl.
